Iguaçu Falls from the Brazilian side is absolutely spectacular — the walkways take you right to the edge of the Devil's Throat. We combined it with a few days on Ilha Grande which was paradise: hiking through Atlantic rainforest to deserted beaches. Travelfab's recommendations were brilliant throughout. Went to Brazil for the first time — Salvador da Bahia was the highlight. The Afro-Brazilian culture, the Pelourinho quarter, the acarajé from street vendors. We also spent a few days in Chapada Diamantina National Park which felt like a hidden gem. Great hiking and waterfalls without the crowds. The only thing I'd change is I wish we'd had more time.

Two weeks in Brazil and we barely scratched the surface. Rio is everything you imagine and more — the view from Sugarloaf at sunset, Copacabana's energy, the street art in Santa Teresa. We added on the Pantanal wetlands which was incredible for wildlife: jaguars, macaws, caimans everywhere. Fabian built a really well-balanced itinerary that mixed city, nature and beach.
