Cookie Policy

Last updated: 28 February 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how Travelfab Ltd uses them on our website, and how you can manage your cookie preferences.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit, such as your preferences and activity, which makes your next visit easier and the site more useful to you.

Cookies can be "first-party" (set by the website you are visiting) or "third-party" (set by a service used by the website, such as an analytics provider).

Essential Cookies

These cookies are necessary for our website to function properly. They cannot be switched off without affecting the usability of the site.

Authentication

  • payload-token: used to authenticate logged-in admin users for our content management system. This cookie is only set when an administrator logs in to the admin panel. It does not affect regular visitors to the website

Security (Cloudflare Turnstile)

Cloudflare Turnstile is a CAPTCHA alternative that we use to protect our enquiry forms from spam and automated abuse. It uses the following cookies:

  • cf_clearance: set by Cloudflare to verify that a visitor has successfully passed a security challenge. Expires after 30 minutes of inactivity
  • __cf_bm: a bot management cookie set by Cloudflare to distinguish between humans and bots. Expires after 30 minutes of inactivity

Analytics Cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with our website. This helps us improve our content and user experience. Google Analytics uses the following cookies:

  • _ga: a unique identifier used to distinguish individual visitors. This cookie is set on your first visit and persists for 2 years. It does not contain any personally identifiable information
  • _ga_[MEASUREMENT_ID]: used by Google Analytics 4 to maintain session state. This cookie persists for 2 years and helps GA4 track page views and interactions within a single visit

What Analytics Data Is Collected

Google Analytics collects anonymised data including:

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • How you arrived at our website (search engine, direct visit, referral link)
  • Your approximate geographic location (country/region level, not precise)
  • Device type, browser, and operating system
  • Screen resolution and viewport size

This data is aggregated and anonymised. We do not use Google Analytics to track individual users or to collect personally identifiable information.

Google Analytics Opt-Out

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking entirely by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. This add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript from sending data to Google Analytics.

Cookie Consent Preference

  • cookie-consent (localStorage): stores your cookie consent choice (accepted or rejected). This is not a cookie but a browser storage value that remembers whether you have accepted or rejected analytics cookies. It persists until you clear your browser data

Functional Cookies

These cookies support the technical operation of our website:

  • __next: set by our website framework (Next.js) to support page routing and caching. These are session cookies that are removed when you close your browser
  • Font display preferences: our website loads custom fonts (Playfair Display and Inter) via Next.js font optimisation. No cookies are set for this purpose, but font files are cached locally by your browser to improve loading speed

How to Manage Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Here is how to manage cookies in the most popular browsers:

Please note: disabling essential cookies may affect the functionality of our website. For example, enquiry forms may not work correctly without Cloudflare Turnstile cookies.

Cookie Consent

When you first visit our website, a cookie consent bar appears at the bottom of the page. You can choose to accept or reject analytics cookies. Your preference is stored locally in your browser. Essential cookies cannot be disabled as they are required for the website to function. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site.

Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on our website are set by third-party services that appear on our pages. We do not control these cookies. The third-party services we use are:

  • Google Analytics: see the Analytics Cookies section above. Google’s privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy
  • Cloudflare: see the Essential Cookies section above. Cloudflare’s privacy policy is available at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
  • Viva Payments: when you make a payment, you are redirected to Viva Wallet's secure hosted payment page. Viva may set cookies on their domain to process your transaction. We do not have access to these cookies. Viva's privacy policy is available at vivawallet.com/privacy-policy
