Galaxy Diver II is a dive liveaboard built around Wolf and Darwin, the two islands at the northern tip of the Galápagos where the big marine life gathers. Sixteen guests share nine en-suite cabins over three decks, refitted in 2026, and two dive guides and a cruise director stay with you the whole week. It suits divers who already have some current experience and want to see the Galápagos from below the surface, among the whale sharks and hammerheads, rather than from a panga looking down.

Return flights from London are included, along with the flight on to Baltra and a night in Quito either side of the cruise, so the whole trip is arranged and ATOL protected as one package. The Galápagos National Park fee and Transit Control Card are both included in the price. THE DIVING

Nineteen dives, most of them at Wolf and Darwin

Galaxy Diver II was refitted in 2026 and carries a proper dive deck for a boat this size: a camera table with charging points, dedicated rinse tanks for cameras and electronics, tank filling and a compressor, and freshwater showers before you’re back on board. Two dive guides and a cruise director run the week, with a maximum ratio of eight divers to one guide, and Nitrox is free of charge if you’re Nitrox certified. The itinerary carries nineteen dives including the check dive, and twelve of them are at Wolf and Darwin, the two sites most divers come to the Galápagos for. Maximum depth on this itinerary is thirty metres.

YOUR CABIN

Nine cabins across three decks

Galaxy Diver II carries sixteen guests in nine en-suite cabins spread over three decks, two on the lower deck, three on the main deck next to the dive platform, and four on the upper deck near the bridge. Cabins are fitted with double beds as standard, with twin beds available on request, and each has air conditioning, a private bathroom and hot water. The sun deck above carries a jacuzzi and loungers for the surface intervals between dives, and the boat has Wi-Fi on board, useful for logging your dives or checking in between islands.

WOLF & DARWIN

Remote, current-swept, and full of big marine life

Wolf and Darwin sit at the northern tip of the Galápagos, remote enough that only liveaboards reach them, and the same currents that make them hard to reach are what bring the marine life in: whale sharks from June to November, hammerhead and Galápagos sharks holding in the current, eagle rays and silky sharks over the reef. These are demanding dives, often deep and always in current, so we ask for an advanced-level certification and recent experience diving in currents, and we confirm the exact certification and logged-dive minimum with you when you enquire.
