The Travelfab method
How we plan your tailor-made trip
Four simple steps from first email to first flight. No fixed brochure, no sales script, just one specialist building a bespoke Latin America itinerary around you, single country or multi-country.
You tell us the shape of your trip
Fill in the form, even just a few lines helps. Where you'd love to go (or not sure), when, for how long, who's travelling, roughly what budget. The free-text box is where the magic starts.
We design a tailor-made proposal
Your dedicated Latin America specialist builds a bespoke itinerary within one working day. Flights, boutique or family-run hotels, private transfers, English-speaking local guides, all costed in £, nothing hidden.
You refine it with us
Want more time on the beach? A cooking class in Oaxaca? Swap a hotel? We iterate until the trip feels right. No pressure, no sales scripts, just a real conversation with someone who has been there.
You travel, we stay on the end of the phone
Once you're happy, we book everything, send final documents and stay contactable 24/7 during your trip. If something needs changing on the road, one message to us is all it takes.
What our travellers say
Real trips, real words, every review is from a genuine Travelfab client.
They organised excellent accommodation and transfers from airport to destination and between destinations which was seamless and gave us peace of mind for our trip. We stayed in the nicest casa particular in Havana right on the outskirts of the major hustle of the old town but within walking distance to every site and lots of lovely restaurants. Our hotel in Varadero had 5 a la carte restaurants which were delicious and wonderful beaches! Would definitely go back to Cuba and use TravelFab again.
Annabelle
Excellent service. Fabien responded to all our queries promptly and efficiently and was always willing to spend time talking to us. The itinerary was well-considered and well-organised with an adequate amount of time in each location. Locations were varied and interesting. The service provided by the B&B owners was good to outstanding. The organisation of the coach services for transfers from one destination to another was super with comfortable journeys in clean, air-conditioned coaches. Thanks, TravelFab!

I was very impressed with Fabian's dedication, patience and professionalism in organising a group of 8 young persons (over 60's) to get to Cuba. The whole experience has been a very positive one. Despite having to relocate to another hotel at the last minute, that change over went very smoothly. Our accommodations were excellent. We will definitely book with TravelFab again. Thank you!

Where will you go?
Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador, Galápagos, Peru and Colombia are where our specialists spend most of their time, and where we build the richest multi-centre trips. Pick one, or combine several, most of our tailor-made journeys cross two or more countries.
Common questions before you enquire
If something’s not covered here, just ask in the form, your specialist will answer directly.
Tailor-made means every element of your trip is built around you, not the other way round. There's no fixed brochure to choose from. You tell us who's travelling, when, where you're drawn to, how you like to travel (boutique hotels vs. homestays, relaxed vs. activity-packed, fly-and-flop vs. multi-country) and roughly what budget you're working with, and we design an itinerary from scratch to match.
You'll work with one dedicated Latin America specialist from first contact through to your return home. We don't outsource planning to call-centres or resell fixed packages from bigger operators. The proposal you receive is written specifically for your trip, so if you want three nights in Cusco instead of five, Monteverde's cloud forest instead of a second beach stop in Costa Rica, or a honeymoon suite instead of a standard room, we simply redesign it. We keep refining it with you until it feels right.
The from prices on our holiday pages are real starting points, per person with flights from London. Your quote is then the exact figure for your dates, your departure city, your hotels and your room type, worked from live availability and live exchange rates. Because the trip is bespoke, we can also add the things that make it yours: private Spanish classes in Cartagena, a dawn visit to Machu Picchu, a tango lesson in Buenos Aires. Ask us, we can usually make it happen.
We reply within one UK working day, usually much sooner. When your enquiry lands, it's routed to the specialist with the deepest knowledge of your chosen destination (or specialisms that match your trip style). You'll get a personal, human email back, not an auto-generated brochure, acknowledging your enquiry and either answering your questions directly or asking one or two clarifying questions so we can start building your proposal.
A detailed itinerary and quote typically follows within 2–3 working days once we've agreed the broad shape with you. For complex multi-country trips or peak-season dates (Christmas, Easter, Galápagos summer), it can take a little longer. Once we have agreed the itinerary together, we ask for a small deposit so we can get to work confirming it for you, and we always show you the final details and accommodation before you make the full payment and commit.
If your travel dates are within 6 weeks and you need to move fast, let us know in the message box and we'll prioritise. For the rare occasion we're on a day off or it's a UK bank holiday, you'll get an out-of-office reply letting you know when we're back. If you'd rather speak than email, tick the "I'd prefer a call" box in the form and we'll schedule a time that works for you.
Our quotes always show the full price of your trip in GBP, broken down by element so you can see exactly where every pound goes. A typical tailor-made quote includes: international flights from your UK departure city, domestic flights within Latin America, all hotels, all private transfers and ground transport, English-speaking local guides, entrance fees to headline sights, and most breakfasts.
Dinners, lunches, tips, personal spending, travel insurance and visa fees are typically excluded and listed clearly so there are no surprises. Where a destination needs a visa or tourist card, we tell you exactly what applies and how to get it before you book.
Because we design everything in-house, we can flex what's included to match your preferences: all-meals if you want a worry-free experience, breakfast-only if you'd rather explore the food scene independently, private guides throughout or only for the highlights. We're transparent with margins too, if you ask us how our price compares to booking it yourself, we'll tell you honestly and explain what you get for the difference (24/7 on-trip support, ATOL financial protection, accommodation suited to your kind of trip and budget, and guides we choose ourselves because we know they will do their best to show you the authentic side of each destination).
Every price on our site is a from price per person with flights from London included, so the figures below are like for like. Our tailor-made Latin America holidays start from around £1,999 per person for six days in the Ecuadorian highlands and £2,449 for eight days in Buenos Aires and Salta, rising to £6,000–£10,000+ per person for longer multi-country journeys, honeymoon-grade hotels, or a Galápagos cruise.
As a rough guide, with flights from London: eleven days in Peru on the long way to Machu Picchu is from £2,899pp. Two weeks in Peru with the Inca Trail, Machu Picchu and an Amazon lodge is from £6,099pp. Ten days combining the Galápagos, Machu Picchu and the Andes is from £5,399pp, and the same route as a honeymoon with upgraded hotels is from £6,499pp. A week on a small Galápagos yacht with Quito either side is from £6,299pp and rises with the ship class. Three-week multi-country trips (Peru + Ecuador + Galápagos, or Colombia + Peru) are quoted individually and usually land between £6,000 and £9,000pp.
Of those figures, the international flights are roughly £700–£1,400pp in economy, more in premium cabins. We book and ticket them for you, which is what puts the whole holiday under our ATOL. Leaving from Manchester, Edinburgh or another UK city? Tell us in the form and we quote the connection in. If your budget is lower than the ranges above, be honest with us in the form. We'd rather tell you upfront whether we can design something you'll genuinely enjoy than quote a trip that feels stretched.
Yes, multi-country itineraries are what we do best, from two countries in a fortnight to a three- or four-country grand tour over 3–4 weeks.
The combinations we build most often are: Peru + Ecuador + Galápagos (Machu Picchu, Quito and the islands in one trip), Colombia + Peru (Cartagena's colonial old town + Machu Picchu), Costa Rica + Panama (rainforest and cloud forest, then Panama City and the Canal), and Argentina + Brazil (Buenos Aires, then the Iguazú Falls from both sides). We also build less obvious routes, Colombia + Ecuador, Ecuador with a few nights in the Amazon.
Multi-country trips work best when you have 2+ weeks; anything shorter and you spend too long in transit. We handle all the tricky logistics, internal flights between countries (which sometimes aren't bookable direct from the UK), visa requirements country by country, and any tricky border crossings. We'll also advise on the best sequence: for example, acclimatise to altitude in Cusco before tackling Machu Picchu; save the beach days for the end of the trip, after the active part, not before. This kind of logistical choreography is hard to DIY, it's where a specialist earns their keep.
Yes. Every Travelfab holiday is fully ATOL protected under licence 10898, because every holiday we sell includes flights that we book for you, and ATOL covers the whole package, not just the flight. ATOL (Air Travel Organiser's Licence) is a UK government financial protection scheme run by the Civil Aviation Authority. In practice, this means two things: first, if Travelfab ever ceased trading, the money you've paid towards your trip is refunded by the ATOL scheme; second, if you're already on your trip when something happens, ATOL pays to bring you home.
You can verify our ATOL licence at any time on the Civil Aviation Authority's website (caa.co.uk) by searching for "Travelfab" or licence number 10898. We send you an ATOL certificate automatically as soon as we take your first payment, keep it with your travel documents.
On top of ATOL, we're also registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO ZA823279) for data protection, registered in the UK at Companies House (08910640), and our brand is a registered UK trademark (UK00004035589). If you're comparing operators, always check their ATOL number is live on the CAA site, some online "tailor-made" travel agents don't hold ATOL protection at all.
Yes, we book flights directly as part of your package, which is what triggers the ATOL protection. We work with British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Iberia, Air France, KLM, Avianca, Aeromexico, LATAM and most other major carriers into Latin America from UK airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Edinburgh).
When we book your flights you still collect Avios or airline points on most fares, give us your frequent flyer number and we add it to the booking. If you have a preferred airline, cabin or routing for the long-haul leg, tell us early and we build the trip around it. Every holiday we sell includes the flights, booked and ticketed by us, which is what keeps the whole holiday ATOL protected from your first payment to the day you land back home.
For complex routings, say, Heathrow to Lima, Cusco to Quito, then Guayaquil back to Heathrow after the Galápagos, we often find better fares and connection times than the public booking sites, because we can hold seats while we confirm the rest of the itinerary. We'll always show you the full flight routing before booking so you can approve it. Premium economy, business and first upgrades are available on most of our routes; just mention your preference in the message box.
Absolutely, and each needs a slightly different touch, which is where the tailor-made approach really pays off. We plan for couples and honeymooners, families with children or teens, solo travellers, groups of friends and several generations travelling together.
For honeymoons, we lean into the moments you will remember: a private guide at Machu Picchu, a few nights in the Galápagos, slow days on a Costa Rica beach to finish. We know which hotels do honeymoons brilliantly and which just tick a box.
For families, we match activity level and accommodation style to the age of your children. Galápagos with teenagers is transformative; with toddlers, we'd steer you to Costa Rica instead. We have a curated list of family-friendly boutique hotels that genuinely welcome kids (interconnecting rooms, child-safe pools, decent kids' menus) rather than just tolerating them.
For solo travellers, we can build a trip that balances independence with safety and companionship: private guides for the days when you want local insight, free time in hotels with great communal spaces, and one or two curated group activities (cooking class, salsa lesson) where you'll meet other travellers. Single supplements are unavoidable at some luxury properties but we'll always flag the ones that waive them.
